Decided to get chips for lunch. Went in and saw it was the A team of the owner and her friend doing the cooking so I had cod and chips. They turned out to be the best I had had for many a year. Crispy, tangy, tasty batter and succulent firm cod without any trace of the cooking oil penetrating the batter. Perfect. The chips were also excellent. I really enjoyed it.

Good food, reasonably priced - best fish and chips in Chepstow for sure. Came on a weekday evening (called ahead). It was busy but the ladies were hustling and serving as fast as possible, so even tho there was a wait we didn’t mind as the food was super fresh and tasty. Keep up the good work. X We had two cod & chips, mushy peas and some sauces which came up to <£27.

I left a review 6 years ago..... pretty sure I've been back since then although I do live 70 miles away! .....I think that other more recent reviews are either unfair or completely wrong as again I found the service excellent and very friendly, the food freshly cooked and delicious and remarkably good value. We had haddock, scampi, chips, mushy peas, buttered bap, and mugs of tea for just over £20 ( 2 people).....and we sat in the side seating area and ate off of proper plates with knives and forks.....and somebody cooked our meal and did the washing up!..... what is there to moan about. Thank you Kibby's, you are the best !

Have not been here for a while though I had better do a review The quality and portion size was great, freshly cooked golden chips this actually shocked me they were incredible. Staff here are first class freindly polite and patient I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. Cleanliness was great ot was very clean. This is a must visit if you are in the Chepstow area as its also cma lot cheaper and better than any chip shop around the area Disabled access is fine again no issues. You can also dine in if you prefer. My only negative is with the council they need to sort the parking out and make it better in my opinion.

I do read all reviews especially when it comes to food! price was £12 cod & chips Including curry sauce and got to say very very nice 👌 cook to profection and lovely white fish !!! Would i come back yes !!
